EditionFlow runs entirely inside your Google Workspace. We never see your subscribers, your content, your AI prompts, or your OAuth tokens. The only data flowing to us is a $79/month subscription check.
Sampled just now. It will always say 0. We're not a data processor — there is no customer-data table to query.
Here's the line-by-line difference. The left column is what stays inside your Workspace. The right column is everything we ever see.
We're not your data processor. We can't be — we have no database with your data in it.
You subscribe, copy our Google Sheet template into your own Drive, and paste in your license and Gemini key. That's the whole installation.
Stripe takes the subscription. We email you a license string and a link to the template. No questions about your subscriber list.
One click. The template lands in your Drive, owned by you, under your organization's Workspace controls.
The setup script wires up Apps Script triggers and folders inside your own Drive. You authorize Google's standard OAuth dialog — tokens never leave your Workspace.

Layout intelligence reads the kind of newsletter you're making and plans the edition accordingly — image alignment, page flow, whitespace, the small typographic decisions that make a publication feel cared-for.
Serif body, formal masthead, generous spacing. The look of an institutional publication — suits Islamic schools, parish newsletters, alumni associations.
Clean sans, image-led, card-style layouts. For tech-adjacent nonprofits, independent publishers, and content-rich newsletters that lead with visuals.
Two-column, dense, designed to scan. For weekly parish bulletins, announcement-heavy formats, and publications where information density matters more than image space.
Everything below runs inside your Workspace. The AI reads your prior editions from your own Drive — we never see them.
Gemini-powered drafts that respect your tone, your prior editions, and your sensitivity rules. The AI runs in your Workspace and reads from your own Drive.
Vision-aware AI plans your full edition — image alignment, page flow, whitespace — for the Heritage, Modern, or Bulletin archetype.
Print-ready PDF and HTML email that match each other visually. Generous type. Real letterspacing. Defaults that don't embarrass you.
Dictate notes from your phone on the way home. Transcribed, structured, and drafted by AI — sitting in your Drive when you sit down.
Generate cover and section images with Nano Banana Pro right inside your edition. Family-appropriate, modest defaults are always on; choose between Islamic and faith-neutral presets, or add your own style guidance.
Every past newsletter is one click away as an artifact. The archive lives in your Drive forever, even if you cancel.
If it works for the largest parish, it works for the smallest. Monthly or annual — your choice.
Optional one-time add-on: $199 white-glove setup. We screen-share through the five steps — we never touch your Google account.
If you've ever read a SaaS T&C and quietly closed the tab — this is for you.
If anything below is still unclear, write us. Plain English, same-day reply.
It means there is no server we own that holds your subscribers, your content, your prompts, your tokens, or your sent emails. The EditionFlow engine is a bundle of Apps Script and a Google Sheet template that you copy into your own Workspace. When it runs, it runs there — on Google's infrastructure, under your account, governed by your admin's controls. The only thing that travels to us is a periodic license check: "is this subscription still active?" Yes/no. That's the entire data flow.
Inside your Google Workspace. Specifically: Apps Script bound to a Google Sheet in your Drive. AI calls go from your Apps Script directly to Google's Gemini API using your API key — those calls don't pass through us either.
You remain the data controller; we are never a processor because we never receive the data. FERPA, GDPR, CASL, PIPEDA, and similar regimes all govern data you hold. Since your data never leaves your Workspace, your existing Google Workspace compliance posture carries through. Talk to your counsel — we won't pretend to be one.
Your Sheet, your archive, your subscribers, and your past editions stay in your Drive, owned by you. The license check will eventually fail and the AI features will stop, but the Sheet keeps opening, your data keeps being yours, and you can continue exporting past editions as PDFs forever. We will also publish a final license-check bypass so the AI features keep working until you migrate.
You generate a free API key from Google AI Studio, paste it into your Sheet, and the AI features call Gemini under your account. Typical small-org usage is well under $5/month in API charges — many organizations stay inside Google's free tier. We never see this key or these calls.
It can — because the AI runs in your Workspace, not on our servers. The Apps Script reads your prior editions from your own Drive and sends them, along with your prompt, directly to Gemini from inside your account. We're not in that loop.
Add the $199 white-glove setup. We schedule a screen-share, walk you through the five steps, and you click everything yourself. We never touch your Google account.
Two honest tradeoffs. (1) Setup is five manual steps — not "sign up with Google and you're in" the way Mailchimp is. (2) We can't push instant new features to your account; new capabilities come as a Library version bump you opt into. We think these are the right tradeoffs for the trust model. If you don't, the SaaS alternatives are excellent.
Write us. We answer plainly and have a small fund for organizations that need it.
We're a small team building EditionFlow for anyone whose subscriber list is a sacred trust — schools, parishes, nonprofits, alumni associations, the local independent publisher, the writer who'd rather not hand their list to a third party. We use the product to send our own newsletter. We answer email, plainly, the same day.
